I somehow think that the man is right. A relationship where money is an issue every second is not a happy one. And I know that love conquers all, but I am also aware that having no place to live, no money, no nothing...and also being from different countries is a very big problem that love just can't solve.
And yes, I know he is not being fair and it's not her obligation to have/provide money, but I think he is being realistic.
