Hi all,
I am getting better at learning Turkish but still struggle when it comes to the written Turkish I have already wrote down what I think is right but can someone please check this for me, I am writing to my girlfriend's sister and would appreciate the translation so I can check what I have written her sister does not speak any English.

Hi Nil,
How are you dear? I saw you online but you go quickly. I am really looking forward to meeting Nes and you and Ali and also your mum very much. I will arrive on the 20th June Nil and Nes will meet me at airport. I hope you and Ali can come out some days with me and Nes it would be nice to have some fun. Have you any days off Nil from work during 20th June - 30th June? I was going to ring you and surprise you Nil Nes gave me your number I will ring you sometime soon. Take care and best wishes to Ali and you see you soon
Richard

Thanks very much everyone there are some very good ideas there, my Turkish lady Nesrin asks me not to bring so many gifts but I always seem to feel I want to. It is just a nice gesture I think this will be the first time I meet her family so I want to make good impression without going over the top. I appreciate the ideas very much thanks

Hi all,
With my trip to Istanbul in June coming up I am travelling from the U.K. Is it still the custom to present the Turkish authorities with a clean crisp £10 note to arrive in the country?

Hi all,
I am very pleased I found this website since I have been a member all the people on here have been very helpful and kind. I try to write my own poetry and it seems it takes forever to write I have another special poem for my lady in Istanbul, I would be very grateful for the translation, thanks so much in advance.

I love you so much. will you love me?

You are the most beautiful person I have ever seen.
And what i say, is what I mean.

I love every single thing that we do
I love all of my time spent with you

You are so precious to me
To open my heart, you have a key

From the day we met, you will find.
You are ALWAYS on my mind.

Looking in your eyes makes me tear
The thought of loosing you inspires fear.

Touching you is heaven to me,
I love you that much, you'll never see.

I want you so bad
Without you I'm sad
When I'm with you i am so glad

You really mean the world to me
I love you so much. will you love me?
