A farmer had a field of watermelons. He realized that every evening children would sneak into the field, and a few melons would go missing. After thinking about the situation for a bit, he decided to put up a warning sign on the field. “Beware! One of the melons in this field has been injected with cyanide.” The following evening he enjoyed watching the children run away without eating any of the melons.

A week later the farmer was out walking in his field. After checking that none of the melons were missing he spied a notice which had been put up next to his notice. “Now there are two of those melons!”
