Thread: Verbs who need -e;-den;-ile

Here is a list of verbs who insists their objects to take -e; -den; -ile endings :

 

-e/-a  ending  :

-e bakmak = to look after

-e basmak = to tread on, to squash

-e bayýlmak = to love  doing something, to faint

-e bildirmek = to let someone know

-e binmek = to get into/ onto a vehicle

-e çalýþmak = to try to

-e haber vermek= to inform, to tell

-e hatýrlatmak = to remind (someone)

-e inanmak = to believe

-e karýþmak = to interfere (in)

-e kýzmak = to be annoyed (with)

-e sormak = to ask (someone)

-e yardým etmek = to help (someone)

 

Ex.

Arabaya bindim. = I gt into the car.

Sana haber vereceðim. = I will inform you.

Bana sormadýn. = You didnt ask me.

 

-den/-dan endings :

-den bahsetmek = to discuss, to mention

-den býkmak = to get fed up of

-den geçmek = to pass (over)

-den hoþlanmak = to enjoy

-den inmek = to get off, out of, to go/ come down

-den kaçmak = to avoid

-den korkmak = to scare

-den nefret etmek = to hate

-den özür dilemek = to apologise (to)

-den sýkýlmak = to get bored, to get fed up

 

Ex.

Arabadan indim . = I got out of car.

örümceklerden korkuyorum. = Im afraid of spiders.

Senden nefret ediyorum. = I hate you.

 

-ile endings:

 

-ile evlenmek = to get married (to)

-ile konuþmak = to talk (to)

 

Ex:

Seninle asla evlenmeyeceðim. = I will never get married with (to?) you
