Quoting Deli_kizin: Oh and CANLI, Im not debating whether you should or should not put your scarf while praying and stand behind a man. Because it is not your choice. It is something you believe and simply have to follow. So it is not discussing about how it should or should not be done, it is about how correct the way it was described is. You are not to question Allah's rules, you are to follow them. And I understand how you want to defend what we say, because your faith is the core of your being. But as an outsider, I can question them and say why I think they are wrong. And I believe that actually every muslim or christian or whatever should think about the set of rules and beliefs they are given, to choose whether it is something you really believe in and therefore are willing to follow, or if it is something you feel is unacceptable and therefore decide that what you always believed in, is not good, and stop being a believer or believe in something else. |
D_K,
İ did question my believes, and as tea found it is the suitable for her,i found mine suitable for me too
İ've put on my scarf when im out of my home, not just while praying
İ have put it out of convincing not juts obeying
İf it was a matter of obedience, then i should have put it years before i did,but i didnt!
Even it was an order, and i knew that too,but i didnt obey it then
When i felt i can do it,i did it!
So its not a matter of following orders blindly,or else, you would fed up and will stop following them !
As i said, there are mosques with places for women to pray similar to men's place but apart from it,and there are mosques which doesnt have it,and women can pray at lines behinde men's lines
İ pick first ones,as you know the majority is Egypt are Muslims,so we have many mosques,i can have my pick
İf i dont find one,i dont pray at mosque,i dont pray behinde men and i wait to pray at my house
İ take my pick too
So you see,i dont follow rules that i am not convinced by them specially in behaviors
Things like dont drink, dont eat Pork,dont...ect those i follow as rules
So bottom line is,i also questioned my religion,i've asked,i've read before i obey
And i am comfortable the way it is,and the way i am .

Did it need to solve the problem? I think no need, we entered Iraq using our international rights and if the attacks continues, our rights also reserved. They came from Iraq, killed our people then you want Turkey to watch, we sure go and kill the terrorists.
......
Because people want to see them killed who first sneaky killed civilians, soldiers. Are u still amazed? Tell the terrorists, do not kill our people, do not damage the peace of country then maybe you wont.
|
Since you accept those incursions are not solving the problem, why on earth we keep entering northern iraq with the promises from army such as 'this is it..we will finish them this time' and then killing 200-300-500 and get our soldiers killed?
See, even you realize that it is not the solution!!
Then, why are we NOT pursuing REAL solutions then?
Dont you see this? It has been 30 years!! What we have been doing is not producing any solution! we going there, killing some young people, they come back, killing our soldiers.. 30 years..Easy to say but whole 30 years...same thing. again and again. But sides' deads are young people belong to Turkey.
This is madness!!
I told before and I will repeat again:
We (Turks and Kurds) have to live together. It is the real objective!!
Now tell me! did 'going into northern iraq' (more than 25 times) bring us closer to that objective or not?

Haha, Demirel did not use the words “deep state†with the same meaning of yours. He confessed something there; said “we have inability to govern the country because of anarchyâ€. And whats the source of anarchy? Army caused anarchy?. Surely not, at that period actually during the period of cold war, CIA organised many counter guerilla organisations as a strategy of NATO in country against the ideology of communism and lots people died because of this silly cold war games of two-poled world. But also army made lots of mistakes especially Evren. And MIT was used to control these groups by CIA.
...
Yes, but not the deep state u described.
|
I really recommend you to read the books about "the deep state". There are not very many deep states(or deep state descriptions) in Turkey!!
Demirel, Ecevit (he never said publicly such as 'Deep state is the Army' but many insinuations) and many politicians publicly explained what deep state is.
What is it excatly you are trying to say?
There is a group called counter-guerilla/gladio/mit etc. But this group always worked for the army with the knowledge of army!!
Why do you think many times some genarals are coming up and saying 'I know him, he is a nationalist' for the people taken to courts?
Quoting armegon:
Quoting thehandsom: Well I disagree on that..
We have to live together.. |
Who says?
|
we have to learn to live together peacefully..what are you going to to do with 15 million kurds then?
.Quoting armegon: .....
Haha, and you follow the nationalism of Atatürk? You contradict yourself above. You are talking about here that Kurds were obsessed, imprisoned ,why you only needed to voice Kurds, or u forgot the mention Turks or other ethnicities who were obsessed, imprisoned during the same period. You are double-faced Mr.handsom, and I can call u Kurdish-racist.
....
This not includes Atatürk nationalism. And i guess u will again say i have no knowledge of transfromation of Turkish nationalism.
|
I dont think I can be kurdish-racist since I am not kurdish. And I will be glad if you show me inconsistencies in my posts
and where did I say I follow the nationalism of Ataturk?
Look, nationalism always requires enemies. it requires 'them'..There is always us and them in matches etc but many other citizens of other countries see 'them' as enemies as we (Turks) do. a tiny example here: the mother of the boy who knifed british hooligans to death, was saying on the telly, 'she was very proud of what her son did'. That type of behaviour can only be explained years and years of 'shovenistic brain washing'. She was just proud his son killed some of 'them' when he found the opportunity and he showed how nationalist he was and how much he loved his country.
Well nationalism is nationalism even if you add Ataturk infront of it. I cant understand really, when it comes to other ideas of ataturk we are easy to forget them but when it comes to nationalism it is that hard. An example of them is 'state control'-devletcilik and we easily forgot it because it was not suitable with the free economic model. Ataturk's ideas are not god given. He himself was a revolutionist.
.Quoting armegon: .....
You are again false, if u want to see the source of Kurdish problem, just read again my previous post, you will observe who are real problems and this atmosphere surely encourages extremists just like left-right fight before, now ethnicity is being used.
|
Kurdish problem is in our borders..Do not look for the reasons outside..
Reading 'sark islahat plani' thread might be a good start to understand what the real problem is.

Do we get paid for our thoughts are do we pay
Hey on this Kurdish issue
We are not fighting with 15 million kurds, our figth is with 7 thousand terrorist...
When i was kid, i use to buy pirate tape casette of Ahmet Kaya and always buying one kurdish casette with it, like Şivan Perwer, Şirvan, Koma somethin ( koma mean group and lots of Koma over there ) But i am not kurdish neigther know kuurdish language, i am from blacksea area and grown in istanbul... i just liked music, how did i hear it ?Because all pirate tape sellers were playing it very outlout...so now, in 1990, in this coutry peaople could speak Kurdish, could sing kurdish, could make casette in kurdish, presidend of country say about himself he is kurd ( Turgut Özal)...PKK use to say, they are fighting for kurdish rights...but in the east, they are like mafia, they come your village, they ask your help, if you deny they accuse you for being government spy and kill you...this is how they protect kurdish rights( what ever they are)...they are holding gun and drug markett in the middle east...and that is not government accusation..you can ask any turkish socialist group, and they ll tell you proudly...
commanders like seigneur there and they can kill any member of their unit by the accusation of helping government...pkk says they have land in 4 country, in ıraq, iran, syria and turkey mut most important part is in turkey. one day i asked one kurdish guy whom support pkk if today you had kurdistan, would you go there...he had a samll markett in istanbul, and said no am i stupid ? i ll not tell you rest of converstation...but kurdish rights or independence is a big lie...
so a wolf would fight with a cat ? no..any time he can torn cat in pieces..but if he consider playing little bit, even at the risk of getting some scar, that mean he has a reason...so dont dispise your country or army, if fight took 30 year, reason is "it must be that way"...
again, here i see big lover forum lets check how many of ladies here are in love with turks and how many with kurds...lots of kurdish people try to run out of country, whatever it takes, cheating, breaking heart does not metter. left your wife and kids ( if you find a kurdish man whom grown in his own city, older then 28 and saying you he is single, never get married, eighter he is marginal or liar )and first thing they do when they are out of country, accuse turkey in first converstation..ok, what they give the country beside 8 kids ? %80 of the stealing electricity is using at the east cities, otopark mafia, land mafia, pick pocket organizations are managed by kurds...and some percent of money goes to pkk...if we fight with 15 million kurds we have a reason for that, but we dont...we only fight with bad, as a good ( some time good people for protecting good, does some bad things and that is dilemma of life)
Just love your coutry, because it is what you ll have at the end. to love country is not decorate yourself or environment with tree crasen moon or wolf symbols...or even flags..work for good of your country...i love american system...until they elected, they poke each others eye...but after election, till next campaign they both are ( democrats and republicans) work together for the good of country...this is the patroitism...every nation must have...if kurds see themself as diffrent nation which can not live together with turks, they have a coutry right now, they are free to go...but if they try to step two difrent land in sape time, their legs could be broken...and that is not our mistake but their..
so where is my two pennie
