Bloody hell!
I'm away for a few days and all hell breaks loose. Ceyda, I cant say anything that the others haven't said already. God Bless you.

If the police are telling you they cant do anything, then you must go to your local council. You can get a thing from them called an ASBO (Anti Social Behaviour Order), basically this is a court order which prevents people behaving in this way, if they do, they get taken to court and can go to prison, yes even if they are only kids. If you want to know more about this pm me.

also I cant actually understand why the police are doing nothing, this amounts at the very least to criminal damage and their are some very serious laws about harrassment.

You could also get a civil injunction against the ringleaders, again PM me if you want to know more about this. Ceyda, there is a lot you can do about this, maybe you are just not going about it the right way. Remember I am a lawyer and work with the police, PM me and I will help you.
Kisses for you, if all else fails canim, I live just down the A13 from you, you can come and stay with me!

The girl is now in hospital.. she will be arrested and then put on bail until the court date. I still dont feel safe though. Maybe there is nothing the police can do, i dont know. I would like to look further into the matter when my head is a bit clearer and my final two exams are out of the way. Thank you for your post Lyndie, it really does mean a lot to me.
And you know, hehe, thats the 2nd offer ive had to go and stay with someone from TC hehe
BLESS YOU ALL... im glad that you were all here when i needed you.

Thank you for putting that straight Erdinç. I agree that much of what has been said here is unappropriate.

I would like to add that my first post in the MY LIFE IS IN DANGER thread has not at all been exaggerated but possibly not fully explained! I understand that it maybe difficult for some people to accept this due to several reasons, such as the area where they live, their own family and friends and even their upbring. Who can say for one moment that it was exaggerated? I was here that evening, that night, when there was screams and shouts for me to come out of the house so they could lay their hands on me. The fear I experienced could not even be described in words.
I am only going into this much depth now because the topic has been so much escalated, I am not seeking pity. Of course, I do appreciate how many members do generally care about this and I don't want them to forget that.

When it comes to my personal personal life, ie. who I plan to get married to and when.. I would like to say that if anyone here was in my position I would be genuinely happy for them. I know I am young, I turn only 16 this August although what is the harm in planning the future?
I am sure that many of you are aware of how a traditional Turkish family works in regards to issues like this and for that reason I have decided that one day in the future, when college, university and the military service is out of the way, that I would love to get married to my boyfriend. Surely, the fact that I am looking at this in such a logical way is a good thing and thus not something to be laughed at..?
Look at many 16 year olds of today, I don't think I even need to supply an explanation to this because you all know what I mean. Let us just take the group of tarts who smashed my front door in the other night..? Those are the type of people who could be laughed at when they say they want to get married to their boyfriend, because they think they are in love with every boy who they sleep with.

All comments, against me or not, are appreciated. Thank you for saying what you think. My appreciation however, is not something which means I can't disagree.

This thread was originally started before the recent event happened and had no replies. After thinking about my whole life and how it is actually in danger for this much time. I used this unanswered thread to take my mind off things. As Esther said, the translation will be sent to Apo.

During hard times people need other people and who is better to talk to than the person you are set to be married to? It is nice to be able to reply to a nice gesture with a meaningful song which expresses how one feels at the time so for that reason I also thank Kadir for supplying me with that. I hope lots of other members here will also find the translation useful.

Going back to what Erdinç said, I believe that the personal bickering here should stop. Many of you call yourselves adults whilst treating me like a child, not noticing that you are actually acting more immature than I supposedly am.
Let us remember what Turkish Class is here for and try and focus on that....

how did u learn mltm?? i want to!!!

On my own, just watching and trying myself. I have had a lot of chance to watch them on TV,and here and there, but the bad thing is that on every music, now, I'm likely to dance oriantal. But ofcourse I cannot still do the best figures of oriantal which is trembling all your body very rapidly just with the moves of your muscles, if you have seen Asena, you'll understand.

Ah and watch the coming belly dance contest on ATV if you have the chance. ehehe I'm looking forward to it

hehe yeah, have you seen the belly dancer that used to appear on YA ŞUNDADIR YA BUNDA all the time? she can do that.. its amazing...
when does that belly dancing thang start on atv..? i would love to watch it.. im gonna try and copy it u know hehehe

I think "soy ağacı" is the best and most common.

oki... then so say, "im making a family tree"
it would be: "ben bir soy ağacı yapıyorum"

there is no need for another suffix on "ağacı" isnt it? because im not saying "the"..? am i right?
