This is a poem written by Nazim Hikmet.

The name of the poem is ´23 sentlik askere dair´ means ´about a soldier worth of 25 cent´.

It was written after Americans said that " The cost of Turkish soldiers is very cheap. They cost us  only 23 cent". He was talking about Turkish soldiers in Korea.

I wont bully people, I have never did, I will never do.

However, you can not stop people who feel less of themselves and intimidated. Maybe it is just the nature

Hi everyone. In my last vocation I met a turkish girl and she posted a photo of me on facebook. I just want to know what she wrote and and her friend replied, can someone make a english translation plssss thanks in advance

She wrote: Brezilyali oda arkadasim fenerbahceli cikti

A friend replied: yerim senin brezilyalı oda arkadasını......

I tried google, but it translates doesn´t make any sense!

This is not the right place to post for translations.. This thread is an illegal thread, made up by AE for illegal activities long time ago.

But here is your translation:

She wrote: Brezilyali oda arkadasim fenerbahceli cikti

My Brazilian room mate happens to be a Fenerbahce supporter

A friend replied: yerim senin brezilyalı oda arkadasını......

I eat your Brazilian room mate.....

Hopes fade for Edinburgh Zoo panda cub being born

Experts have warned the chances of a panda cub being born at Edinburgh Zoo are fading – as Tian Tian’s ‘pregnancy’ enters its third month.

..

Staff at the zoo remain optimistic they will see the pitter-patter of tiny paws, but it is still unclear wether Tian Tian is actually pregnant.

Specialists say unsuccessful pregnancies – where the female re-absorbs the foetus – are extremely common.

Seems good but is anyone suspicious that this is all just to increase the rights of the religious, or ultra-religious and curb the secularism?

Of course some people are suspicious because they think sheria is finally arrived.

But actually, it is quite wrong:

Women with headscarf have already  been working in some state departments since 2010.  AKP has legalized  a reality. But however, there was a huge expectation from the Kurds and Alevites. Alevites did not get anything but a promise for the next package. Kurds have already gained some of these rights with fighting and hugely dissapointed. (I think PKK leader´s opinion will matter the most about how the Kurds react . We will yet to learn that). No concrete measures regarding the elections and %10 threshold rule.

I think PM has been forced to give these rights because Turkey is becoming increasingly unmanagable. People are demanding more freedom and the government is just trying to give as little as posible to save the day and  also the next general election.

But that racist oath inspired from Hitler and Musollini in 1930´s has gone for good. That is a good thing.

The actor, who was known for a number of historic roles, including late Turkish director Yilmaz Güney’s “Sürü” (The Herd), passed away at the hospital he was taken to.

A highly-respected theatre actor, Kurtiz’s portrayal of a veteran gangster in the famous Turkish drama series Ezel was one his most acclaimed roles in recent years.
