Has TC lost its sense of humor? Sense of knowing jokes from truth?

now that was not a joke, that was truth; i think you have to read everything through again since you've missed something

Mereli
I think you are new here!
Sorry, I played it since this afternoon. lol
But it was so tempting..
You are welcome to TC anyway!!

Yani! sana. Günün şakası

Ama
after reading the line
5. Set-up a makeshift door alarm in your hotel room
-turkish expression -'ben resmen koptum'.
I wanted to write 'OHA yani' first..but changed my mind..
It was fun anyway lol
Mareli sorry again!!

now that's what i call weird, i never realised the difference is that big... makes me wonder if it's worth going there in the first place

What difference are you talking about here?

countries rape stats

Handsom I can't believe you could be so naive

Rape stats are always highest in countries where rape is treated as a serious crime and where women are not afraid to report it to the police. You will find similar high stats for the US and UK for martial abuse.

It is very sinister to see the stats so low for countries like Yemen and Saudi Arabia.

I am proud that our stats are higher - it proves there is no stigma to the woman and she is less afraid to report such a crime.

PS. It sounds like you are a stalker!!!! Careful, it will get you arrested in the UK lol

well..
I think in turkey, number of rape cases recorded is around 5% (I think). which means that only 1 in 20 rape case is recorded.
I think that value in the uk is 1 in 3..
so the value 0.018 per 1000 people makes 0.36 per 1000 people.
I think in the uk 1 in 3 rape cases is recorded.
I have no idea how it works with the usa.
so new table for 3 countries:
us -1.19 rape case per 1000
uk-0.14*3=0.42 rape per 1000
turkey- 0.36 rape per 1000.
So Turkey is still better than uk and the usa..

I was sure she loved me!! Her eyes told me that. I think she was scared of something at the time. That was the reason we could not get married.
Sooo sad..

GatewaytoTR's post is outrages!!
However, it brought some memories to me as well:
It was years ago, i was walking around sultanahmet-istanbul. And I saw this beautiful beautiful looking girl. She was wearing this wonderful mini skirt and suddenly as if it was magic, we had an eye contact very very briefly and I saw a very brief smile on her lips. But it was enough for me..and I feel in love at the spot..
And I started to follow her of course..But i could could not find any carouge to talk to her to express what I felt. And I learnt which hotel she lived. whereever she went I was right behind her. It went on 4 days
And everyday we had some eye contacts and strangly she was not smiling. After second day, when we had eye contact, she looked scared of something and she kept looking behind when she was wondered around.
But of course, all I wanted to say was what I felt about her.
End of the third day I saw her buying something very similar to this :

before she went to her hotel..and she looked more scared..
And the last day, I just saw her very briefly when I was waiting in front of her hotel..because some police cars came and she went to the airport with them.

She is still an unfinished song for me..
:-S
