Quoting Müjde:

When you read "Zaman" and "Cumhuriyet" ,which are the most serious presses, at the same time ,you may have an objective idea.
I can also recommend you "Radikal". The cartoon "Ademler ve Havvalar" is very sweet on it, as well.

+1000
I must say that, although I am unable to read them daily, I started to like Radikal a lot. It is kind of example of how the free press should be. I will highly recommend Murat Belge's columns as well. He has been kind of Turkey's conscious!!
Unfortunately it does not have english version

Quoting thehandsom:

but I can confirm as a Turk, the hungry men in Taksim were Turks.

Quoting thehandsom:

You mean genetically?(Well, in recent genetic map of Turkey, it says that there are only 2.5 % are genetically Turk in Anatolia.)

Contradicting yourself even in a same thread shows how flatterer you are.

There is not cotradiction at all..
Everybody in that country is TURK.
This includes lazs, kurds, Turks, lefts, idiots, racists , muslims, christians, atheists etc.
You are the person insisting that they were not Turks in Taksim..
Of course they were.. There was only one semi Turk-semi iranian hungry man between them.

I was just trying to figure out what your base would be about insisting that they were not turks.
I thought may be you meant genetically..
Silly me of course!!

Imperialistic Kitty and her flatterer. What a nice couple.

Right again! That's two in a day!

How did he figure out from those posts that I was trying to flatter you kitty?
Vow..I did not get the flattery from my post..
Either there is very very sophisticated sarcasm and sens of humor there or Aziz Nesin was right!!

I hope femme is reading the posts and she changes her mind..
If she does not, she will be really missed here.
Though I did not share her views about israel and the iraq war etc.
But I did respect her debating abilities. And she was a fun person!!
I hope she comes back soon..

He is right! Handsom, you don't have to be ashamed because of what's going on in your country. It's sad and horrible, but it's not your fault!

Haha
He is not right catwoman.
He is one of the people I am so ashamed of too..
