What did I tell you in my previous posts? All the countries you told are all european union countries, tell me do they need an old english woman to get a passport???
And you said that in UK all people know what is waiting them in the turkish resorts, and yet they are being used and deceived by these men?? It's not very logical, I think it's obvious that these women also look for an adventure.
And I don't think that these girls are lovesick as you said, how can a girl be so lovesick just after sleeping one night or spending a week without even a proper english spoken?? This is not love, so you don't need to worry for them so much.

The exploitive love game is nothing new...and it is not unique to Turkey. It happens everywhere, has been going on for thousands of years and will probably continue for as long as humans exist.

Your examples really made me laugh! What a strange comparison - Princess Diana? Henry VIII!!!! Nobody is denying the fact there are people who use eachother all over the world, but NO OTHER COUNTRY'S RESORTS have the scale of this problem as much as Turkey and silly girls will continue to fall for their "charms" forever!
Instead of defending these scum, why does it not concern you that this is the Turkey that 90% of tourists will judge ALL TURKISH PEOPLE by! The majority of Turkish are NOT like these serial-sex romeos, and its sad that these workers are their ambassadors.
The fact is that Turkey has this reputation and it is founded on FACT! You can try to be diplomatic and may even convince yourself but the truth is out there .... !

Incidently, the same goes for silly English girls. They are OUR ambassadors. Turkish people who daily see their disgusting, drunken, sexually free behaviour will judge ALL English girls by their behaviour too
Edit..The same goes for American girls....particularly while holidaying in Mexico OMG!

I COMPLETELY AGREE with your post Meltem!!! hahaha! Yes! this is so true! Please post this also on the translation forum and perhaps some of those silly girls will wake up at last and stop sending mobile phones and money and spending all their time and effort trying to obtain visas for their "loves".

It is so sweet of you libralady to put the whole blame on and bash the "sexually unrestrained" women. Those poor turkish, muslim boys with their sky-high morals, are so brutally forced into sex, probably even raped most of the time!
How come is everybody to quick point out the "horrible behavior of western women", but defend so fiercely the turkish male scumbags? Are you all worshipers of the female virginity and "men are men" backwardness?

I absolutely hate the current drink/casual sex culture affecting young women and its a fact that sexually transmitted diseases have increased enormously in the UK in the past 5 years. HOWEVER, the point is Libralady, that these girls are exploiting nobody except themselves. Its their choice.
The Turkish tourist workers are exploiting women and using emotional blackmail for material gain. You simply cannot compare the two! These men spend years sleeping with tourists, exploiting all they can. The "lucky" ones find a naive girl or woman who may provide them with money and/or marry them. Then...the majority end up marrying "a nice Turkish virgin" and probably put her health at risk from his years of sexual disease.

You made a very good point Ghost! However, why isn't there an equal or preferably a louder criticism (since it's a bigger problem) of the MALE drink/casual sex culture? These are double standards!

There was not a generalization of western women. There are millions of western women coming to pass their holidays in Turkey and do not experience anything like this. The morals of these men for sure are very disgusting, if they listened to what the book of İslam said, they would not do so many immoral things (I said this because you noted that they are muslims).
But I usually feel that while you wrongly blame us defending these men, you have a tendancy to protect the women. Most of these women do not have morals either (there must be exceptions), but I do not judge them, it's their lives, they have fun, but they are not victims at all.
Anyway, during summer the natives of these resort cities are not happy to see these people (both men and women) either. I'm happy that I live far away from these places.
As been said, I also want that some measures be taken by the responsables, and these workers work in a more disciplined way.
