Armenian Tashnak Party: 'Armenian territories' will come off Turkey sooner or later

At this point in time, AlphaF wishes to shed some light into long distant ages of history.
Turks came to Eastern Anatolia in 1071. The land was owned by the Bysantium Empire. Not one Armenian was anywhere in sight, while Seljuk and Byzantium armies were heroically butchering each other.
Turks captured Anatolia from Byzans, I know of not a single Armenian-Turkish confrontation at this stage, where by Armenians can be said to have stood up for their (?) homeland.
Once Turks completed their capture of Anatolia and Ottoman Empire was firmly founded. All of the land controlled by Ottomans were deemed to be Sublime Porte's own personal asset by law. So, who says Armenians owned any land within boundaries of OTTOMAN EMPIRE? ...They were mere tenants of the Sultan.
Believe it or not !

Quoting AlphaF: They wont have their balls much longer, if they stop their current political games and decide take up a real fight.
Best they follow AlphaF's advice...

So so sad that these people just want aknowledgment that it existed and because of your stubborn government will not even further investigate or discuss. I try to imagine the jews and how they felt. Where would this world be if we never recognized the holocaust.
Do you really think they were all sitting around one day and thought "What the hell let's accuse Turkey of a genocide". Why won't your government at least discuss these issues?

True! it is only Diasporas who had great rank with this genocide business!
And about over government they have said about let this issue is being discussed by historians... Its Armenians who carries this issue to political level!
Genocide accepted by Americans-who was bringing peace to Iraq... was it for peace or petrol? we are watching on news that American forces are good at protecting Petrol mining centers... what a surprise!

If you all just got out and had a little more fun instead of sitting in front of the PC! We could all be sitting around a poker table right now drinking martinis!! |

Quoting kedycan: walid! where the hell are you? u began everything and ran away!! |
Am I supposed to answer all these
well let me clarify my position
I'm for reconciliation between turks, armenians, kurds,...
but I can't accept a new sykes-picot in our region.
Turkey every year remember what happened in 1914 and it isn't taboo because both parts died turks and armenians as they were ottoman subjects.
if there was a genocide against armenians diriged by the govermenment, why armenians in istanbul, izmir still live today there?
let's be logical,
in the war all parts loose not only armenians.

the turkish geovernment proposed and reproposed an historical research to armenia based on all archives of both parts but armenia declined.
yes as alpha said, the diaspora prefers to promote genocide business, while armenians living in armenia are under an authoritarian regime and their first wish is good life and freedom.

As well as the lucrative Petrol let's not forget The West has made billions of Dollars from the making and use of Arms in Iraq, and after using these Arms,in all certainty there will be a rush from Western countries to put 're-build' construction tenders in to build up Iraq's infrastructure which they destroyed in the first place.I wonder if they will accept tenders from Iraqi construction companys?
