Quoting libralady:

This is pure entertainment! Has AEnigma at last found her match? May be ELIZABETH WHERE ARE YOU, this should be a news report!!!

Funny how one perceives sense of humour, and does this prove that age matures the sense of humour? AEnigma never seems to get mine either.

Oh well my left over turkey curry is ready!

Well Hawk had an attempt too didn't he! I hope he is enjoying his turkey curry in the Shetlands

You are right about your humour Libralady - it is not even sarcastic, just ermmmmmmm dull

Girleegirl, you are getting confused in your old age, someone, not of our advanced years, has already served the turkey curry. You silleegirl.

Thanks Girleegirl but, unfortunately, the quote button seems to have disappeared from each person's post. That's why I have been having difficulty. No quote button. I know how to use it when it's there but it's disappeared for some reason.

Thanks anyway

somebody is playing tricks on me girleegirl. The quote buttons have all reappeared!

yup, someone was playing tricks on me! ME!!! The quote button disappears when posts are read when signed out. That's a sure sign of dementia. Dementia is good. It combats those delusions of granduer that can creep in during our more youthful years.

Train Wreck....it appears you are the one confused. My mind is perfectly sound. I am not the one who commented on curry.
Secondly, my comment about being a grandmother does not make me a person of 'advanced age'. You can wear that crown on your own.

Don't worry Elizabeth. I'm not worth watching and you will see my posts attest to that. I've merely been amusing myself and not trying to amuse anyone else. I've never professed to having "acid wit". Dementia does weird things to people, I'm on holiday from work and well, thought I'd do something completely out of character and post a few comments. I was going to say that at midnight I would resume my former peaceful ways but as I am a granny it will be 7pm.

No problems Elizabeth, really, no problems . . . I made a few comments and people felt them important enough to reply to. I didn't make anyone reply . . . free will and all that.

I'm sure there's something in what I've said above to pick over . . . it's just a pile of old bones. I'm ashamed of myself, really I am. I stooped quite low this last few days. Sorry everybody . . . it won't happen again.

Did I grovel enough? If not, let me know, but do it before pm as I have a schedule to keep too.

Anyone found the emoticon for uncool granny ? because I don't want to be sued under the Trade Descriptions Act.

ta ta for now (now I'm really showing my age)

Girlee will you please translate this "granny speak" for me? I think it is a guilt trip of some sort but I can't quite make it out... It's been so long since my granny tried this on me...
