Hey we all make mistakes, we all contradict ourselves, we all change our views and we all “meet ourselves coming backwards†at times in our quest to try and win an argument. We all want to be right, we all want to be the ones to speak the most profound words and yes, deep down, we all seek acceptance in some way (ok forget Femme 
One thing we all need to remember though . . . here we are . . . a bunch of females (I am making an assumption here) “arguing “ amongst ourselves. Some guys out there are going to be rubbing their hands with glee. We are doing a pretty good job on ourselves and they don’t need to lift one little oppressive finger. Maybe we should read again those first few words by Femme at the beginning of this thread. I think we shot ourselves in the feet girls.
AEnigma, I’m sorry it looks like I’m having a go at you only, but I have tried to make reference to your wider group too. You just happened to be there and, well, you’re thick skinned enough to take it and think nothing of it aren’t you?

Thanks Girleegirl but, unfortunately, the quote button seems to have disappeared from each person's post. That's why I have been having difficulty. No quote button. I know how to use it when it's there but it's disappeared for some reason.

The only "gang" I see here is one made up of humourless bitter old women and humourless bitter girlfriends of resort waiters (sometimes combined). I just have fun here - I am not here to make any point or write long essays about other people and how much I dislike them.

I rarely meet myself coming backwards  . I frequently disagree with Cat and Femme about aspects of feminism, religion and politics. I admire both of them and would defend them, and many people here in the same way if there were requests for them to be deleted because some people are unable to take criticism.
I don't seek acceptance - unlike the "tolerant" members of this site.

"Girls"? I really hate that collective term - nearly as bad as AlphaF's "ladies".
Replying to your essays on TC has nothing to do with oppression of women. To meekly agree with eachother and be tolerant is the best way to ensure oppression....
