1. Well, because we are human and we tend to respect each other ?!
2. Because we dont live in a jungle which we should fight when we dont agree with each other ?
3. Respect someone beliefs is respecting the person himself
Because you represent your beliefs
You live, act accourding to what you believe or else you would be hypocrite, believing something and doing something else.
4. There is much difference between AGREE with that beliefs and RESPECT it.
5. Of course everyone has the right to agree or disagree ,that İS democracy.
6. But also,if you disagree , they still have the right you respect what they believe, and that İS democracy too.

1. We respect each other, the same goes for respecting people who don't agree with you
2. Exactly!
3. No, you can respect a person without agreeing with her/his beliefs.
4. Depends what you mean by "respect". If you mean not saying anything critical or harsh about it, then yes - it can be disrespected.
5. Exactly!
6. If by "respect" you mean give you space to do what you want to practice your beliefs (as long as it doesn't harm anyone) then of course! Everybody should have the right to believe what they want to believe without being discriminated against.

cat,i believe i was obvious.
İ said its ok if anyone agree or disagree, eveyone is entitled to his/her opinion.
What i mean about respect the simple meaning..not to insult !

Relationships between dress and the body have existed in European and Anatolian folk cultures well into the twentieth century. Traditional cultures have long held the belief that certain articles of dress could protect the body from harm by warding off the "evil eye," bring fertility to new brides, or assure human control of supernatural powers. Ritual fringes, archaic motifs, and colors such as black and red were believed to have powerful, magical effects.

I think you really have to define "respect" and "insult". We may be talking about different things. To reiterate my point - I think that if you disagree with someone on an issue and think it's "rubbish", you should be free to say so.

For some people Femme, religion is in comparison to how you feel about your family, it touches all your emotions. For some alot stronger than others.

I personally don't have a problem with anyone questioning my faith. Because I have a firm stance on what I believe in. Some don't agree or may say it's rubbish, however it doesn't at all change what I believe. I just know it can be sensitive to others, so I try to make an effort not to poke fun of, unless of course it affects me or is harmful.

Where I struggle the most is the religious extremists. My experience has been that most are hypocrites. They tend to speak God's word, however their actions are quite different.

as for my family, its not holy. you are welcome to criticise, but i will defend it if necessary.
