Thread: Application form question

The application form for the visa says the following:

Soyadı / Surname
Adı / First name

Anne adı / Mother's first name
Baba adı / father's first name..

Blablabla..

My full name is: Esther Theresia Catharina.
Do they mean i only need to fill in 'Esther', or just all my 'first' names? And what about my parents? My mum and dad also have more than 1 name.

--

Uyruk / Nationality

Only my Dutch one or also my British one? (the visa will be put in my British one though).

Meslek/occupation
- Would that be 'student'? I suppose they're not interested in knowing i work in a restaurant, but on the other hand: right now I'm not a student anymore for a few months.

Seyahat amacı / Purpose of visit:
- Just 'for study' or should i give address and name of course and stuff as well?

--

Maybe a bit silly questions, but i want to fill it in very well so that i wont be troubled when i go there in about 3 weeks.

Thanks in advance

Quoting bod:

In the UK, if someone sneezes then it is usual to say "bless you!"

The reason for this is dates back to 1665 when the plague spread across the country. This was thought to be a curse from the devil. Sneezing was one of the first symptoms of the plague and it was believed that a christian blessing would save the person who sneezed from the devil's curse.

I assume that as Türkiye is not christian and didn't have a plague in 1665, the same is not true! But is there anything customary that is said when someone sneezes?

In Türkiye they say: Çok yaşa

which means: live long!

And as a reply, the one who sneezes can say: Sen de gör Which means something like: "You see it too" (in other words, I hope you live long with me too ).

As we're all waiting for the answer, I'll tell another elephant joke then:

Q: How do you put an elephant in the ref?
A: Open the door. Put the elephant in. Close the door

Q: How do you put a giraffe in the ref?
A: Open the door. Get the elephant out. Put the giraffe in. Close the door
