I know we have quite a few 'unnecesary' threads these days but I did wanna add these. With lots of fun i read the dedicated songs and the messages to unknown receipients.

If you find a quote (maybe a wise man said it, or it was a funny one in your favourite series) and you think it could be dedicated to someone, here you can post it. Because i can only receive TRT int, i will probably only quote wise man and SATC-quotes But i hope many Turkish quotes (and their translations) will be added too.

Ohh and if you just find a nice quote but not someone in particular to dedicate it to, just let it be a wise lesson for everyone

---

This quote is for Aenigma, Sophie, Aslan and Annelyn:

Men aren't that complicated. They're kind of like plants. Samantha Jones in Sex and the City. Season I » Episode 11: The draught

Yağmuru dinliyorum.. gözlerim kapalı.

Hava burda çoooook fena Çok yağmurlu bu gece.. ama seviyorum şimdi ben. Çünkü yağmur ağlarken, ben yalnız değilim

Asiaprincess, it's none of my business and i don't know your situation.. but you have posted many messages like this It seems that the person you love, tries to hold on on you, and doesn't want to let you go. Maybe focuss on that, and not on the language-barrier. With a bit of studying and people translating your messages so that you can improve your Turkish too, it could get you far. I don't wanna stick my nose into things that aren't my business or patronise you, but think twice before you give in. I'm sure he isn't responding your e-mails/sms for nothing and I'm sure saying goodbye doesn't kill you for nothing.

I am thinking that i studied maths at the babysit all night, looking forward to talk to Kadir when i get home. Not realizing he has PDÖ tomorrow and that this is too late for him right now. Me feeling angry and sad about it makes me think I'm very superficial and sensitive today. This is what maths does to me

I'm gonna jump on my very Dutch bike right now to get there!

Can I swap a skateboard with that bike of yours? My daughter is asking for a new one these days. :-S

We don't have to swap You can have it in 2 months. No way I am gonna cycle int he narrow streets of Izmir if i can walk there holding my man's hand

(btw, i understood why most of the turkish girls in Izmir prefer to wear sneakers instead of nice high pumps. But ohh, who wants to be pretty has to bear pain, so I'll stick to my own shoes and you can get the bike).

No wait. I know what we can swap it for I'm dying for the translation of 'Oi philoi' of Charis Alexiou

What a nice day for NOT WORKING . Anyone wanna swap lives for today?

Yes me please! Then i could pass English with a 9 on my final list

Oooo yes!!!! The perfect swap ....and I could be young again lol

Can you believe this? We really must have swapped and I didn't notice it! I got 45 out of 51 points Well Aenigma did And there were 11 texts of which one was about ATKINS DIET (can you believe it ) and one about the environment, but i guess Aenigma didn't understand that one, as she made the mistakes in that one. Ohh and sis, I'm sorry for the wind I should;ve warned you, on my way to school tehre is always a tough wind, but the luckyt hing is, you have it in the back when you go home And I'm glad you didn't stick around too long, because i got quite scared of all those neighbours knocking at my (well, your) door!

Thank you for your comments everyone.
I'm glad that there are some people who understand me! And also that there are people who, like me, dont agree with gossiping!!

Maybe this is my lack of English knowledge here, but gossiping is not always bad. It can relief people from feeligns under skin, in order to avoid nasty situations. But in your situation, the gossiping was used to achieve such a situation and harm a person for that matter. Anybody with a good heart could not do anything else but disagree.

I don't know if it helps anyways and how the situation really is. By going all over it again and again we could even make it worse for you, so I won't even try to guess what's going on and I won't try to find solutions for you. Because I'm sure you thought every possible scenario through. Just know that I'm planning to go to Ikea in Izmir to buy a double bed and a couch. You're welcome anytime .
