Hi, when I was there it was quite early in the season and a mix of snowy weather and sunshine. When the sun was shining it was excellent. I will certainly go again when I get the chance.

Hi Angela, yes, you can have skiing holidays in Turkey, I was in Uludag last year skiing and it was very good. If you check on the net for "Ski Turkey" there is a web site I think with all of the resorts, 9 or 10 if I remember rightly. The Turkish tourist boaard sent me some brochures but I don't have them to hand at the moment.

They are separate towns, more like resorts really but on the same coastline, (South West I think.) I don't know for Cesme but the sea around Bodrum is very nice, there is a night club there that is well known throughout the region as the place that the stars go to, it is called "Halikarnas". It is not too far from historical places like Efesus. Cesme is well known for it's tourism and a very popular place to go. I may go there myself later this month. And bir sey degil.

Bodrum and Cesme are towns/cities in Turkey and are popular holiday areas. I have been to Bodrum but not Cesme, I enjoyed very much.

I understand your concern regarding this idiot. However, even his name Vulkan should still help. And from the male point of view I am sorry that you had to experience something like that, most of us are ok I think. Keep your chin up and learn from the experience. Kendine iyi bak.

Too true, you really should do something about that even if it is just to publicise his name so that other people do not get caught out by his behaviour. He is a bad example for guys everywhere.

It was indeed a terrible thing to happen, it looks like it will be over 50 fatalities when the count is done. It would have been more if the emergency services weren't so well organised for such an occurrence. Condolences to all those who lost someone or were injured.

Merhaba arkadaslarim, I was once sent a short verse which may have come from a song. The first line was
"ya adin aklimda, ya aklim adinda........" I know the translation for it but the original message was lost on my computer when it broke. Does anyone know the complete verse?

I am new to this forum but that letter is so vivid in its explanation of the feelings of the author/narrator. I have found that when love is being expressed in Turkish it is done so with true emotion. I'm afraid I could only read it once.
