Hi all,
As this subject is possibly a very important one for myself as regards to my future I wanted to ask anyone on the forum who is Turkish and has moved or is thinking of moving to the U.K. to live. I just wanted some information on the various stages of entrance to the U.K. as being Turkish how you settled what type of work did you look for and what you are doing now, I would be really grateful to hear from Turkish people living in the U.K.
Thanks Loveprague

Welcome back Rich. Glad you got to see your Nesrin. I am not sure where the police train but I didn't notice anything strange when I was there in the spring. Perhaps it is the high concentration of mold in the air this time of year. Istanbul is a very old city and I am sure it has a lot of it. In any case, I can only hope that tear gas wasn't the cause, but you never know, do you?

Hi Elisabeth,
Thanks for your reply, yes I am glad also I saw her it is so good to see her again after only two months but back to work I must go. I am not sure maybe you have a good answer there I am sure there is alot of mold in the air I did not think of that at all. I cannot imagine they would spray tear gas anywhere near shoppers I only thought this when Nesrin told me they hold protests here in this area

Hi all,
I have just arrived back this weekend from a wonderful week spent in Istanbul with my beautiful fiancee. We visited Taksim Square as we always do and could not help but notice a strong police presence yet again, on many occassions we have seen this and we wondered if this area is where the police do some of their training.

We both were sneezing and had watery eyes my immediate thought was tear-gas because I have felt this sensation before and we then noticed some other people visiting Taksim who were also sneezing could be a coincidence perhaps or maybe the police have been spraying tear gas? I like this area very much and it is always very busy we visit here everytime I visit Turkey

Rich/Loveprague is a rare breed among men! I truly don't believe he has a bad bone in his body. I can't think of anyone who deserves happiness more and I am so glad to see that his relationship is one of the rare "success stories". Nesrin is indeed a lucky woman

Thank you so much for wishing me well. I can't believe that it will have been over a year since Yilmaz and I have seen each other. As I am sure you have found, when you see your loved one, all that time apart just melts away.

Hi Wendy,
I like to read everyone's response Wendy they have taken the time to look and respond to my posts so I feel obliged to reply to their replies, thankyou for your kind words, I think I am also a lucky guy having been searching for 'true love' for most of my life I do believe and really think that I have found this woman who has eluded me so long.

I cannot believe it is nearly a year Wendy since you have seen Yilmaz, I am very fortunate again in this sense that I have seen Nesrin only a few months ago and now again this month I will see her again, I do feel for you very much, take care best wishes Wendy
