I would just like to say hi to everyone in my class and also say thank you to gencturk and all other teachers for giving up their time so freely.

Good luck to everyone who has joined the classes and hopefully soon we will all be able to communicate a little bit in Turkish.

Take care

Katie

Hi I would be very interested in joining this group at level 1 please. I can read and write a few words but cannot put sentences together. I think this is a fantastic idea. Thank you to all the teachers involved in this x

Hi Richard

Just want to send my very best wishes to you and Nesrin for your future life together. I would imagine that at this moment you are very excited but also, at the same time, maybe a bit apprehensive. It's a big step to take but such an important one as this is now the start of your future. Good luck Richard and wish you well x

Thank you Sago. I've checked the Turist Otel but unfortunately there are no rooms available. I have found 2 others but they seem expensive. Has anyone ever stayed at either of these please?

Best Western Hotel Ikibin 2000 (30 kilometres from airport) - £259 for 4 nights!!!

Radisson SAS Hotel (28 kilometres) - £314.54 for 4 nights

They are both very pricey. I've never been to Ankara before. I want to be near Cankaya area but I've no idea how far this is from the airport.

Any further help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks x

Hi I'm flying to Ankara in 2 weeks time and will be staying there for 3 or 4 nights.

I need to find a hotel but as I don't arrive there until 10pm, I will probably have to get a taxi so I don't want to travel too far if I can help it. I've looked on the internet but I can't find anywhere to tell me how far from the airport the hotels are.

Can anyone suggest anywhere to stay please? I would like somewhere nice but not too expensive.

Thank you in advancex

What is your guess? Don't be shy ... it is the only way to learn!

And it is not clear so much I guess We need some more to translate it

there wasn't much more but the rest is easy. The whole message was:
biliyormusun seni varya seni cok ama cook seviyorum iyi geceler

I know that the first part is 'you know' and the rest is 'I love you very very much, good night' but now I am really confused. I was thinking it was something along the lines of 'you know I'm here for you' but I don't know how I get to that and now I think it is totally wrong.
