let me try to explain with my weak Turkish grammar, a Turkish teacher can correct .

Turkish sentence should be like "birbirimizi tanımıyoruz değil mi?" or "tanışmıyoruz değil mi?"

both can be translated as "we dont know eachother, do we?". "tanımıyoruz değil mi?" means "we dont know him/her/them, do we?".

tanışmak---to meet, to know eachother, is like "two person who do not know eachother, now begin to be acquainted with eacohter"

tanımak---to know, to recognize, is like" to know someone before"

pleased to meet you---tanıştığımıza memnun oldum or sizi tanıdığıma sevindim.

Do you know MrX?---Mrx´i tanıyor musun?

Have we met?---(önceden) tanıştık mı, buluştuk mu, görüştük mü?

Do we know eachother---Birbirimizi tanıyor muyuz?

I hope these helps

 Thanks armegon

tanışmak and tanımak confuse me, which one do I use for which situation, like for example when I say ´pleased to meet you´ do I use tanışmak?  And if Im introducing people, like for eg: ´do you know mrX´? What do I use?  And if i want to say ´have we met´, or ´do we know each other´?  Again how do I say it?

sorry for all the questions, I´m just feelin very confused today!

an alternative would be installing chips into people´s brains to know exactly what they are thinking.

"I promise that if i am elected, Iran will not acquire nuclear arms, and this implies everything necessary to carry out this" Benjamin Netanyahu said before elections. This is another mask similar to the mask used to invade Iraq and shows how zionists created a fear empire all over the world as showing Iran powerful. But i think i agree with you, there had been an economic crisis last year though any of these countries did not decrease defence expenses and arming. And also the countries that have investements in Iran such as France, Russia, China, Korea, Germany etc will not be happy since they sell a product to Iran ten times more expensive because of ongoing embargo.

Lets wait till the snow melts, it takes time in Iran

I think Israel has no business attacking Iran. Sure the Iranian government threatens to whipe Israel of the map, and sure they have recently anounced some alarming nuclear news... But I wonder if this nuclear threat to Israel is so realistic, and I think there is no solid ground for starting some kind of dangerous war at the moment, which would escalade in pro and con Israel-countries starting an even bigger mess.

But luckily there´s always snow in the North pole (global warming is taking longer then we thought ) so we won´t have to worry for now

Such a good friend she has

Quoting barba_mama

I had a talk about this just the other day! For me, sex is sex. There is no "kind of sex"... But a Muslim female friend of mine proudly states she wants to remain a virgin until she is married. But in my opinion she isn´t! She has done things that made my ears red when I heard it!

The problem is that they do not want to be called Turk or Turkish citizen except they did something bad Wink

Quoting barba_mama

They are therefor Turks, if those Greek and Armenian decendents are also Turks.

To put the record straight, firstly you should have to mention that it was not Turks who feel Kurds were not the part of the country but the Kurds themselves. As you see it is not like you try to describe. Besides things changed very quickly by today´s government, hostility grew up, its not suprising to see many separatist Turks who do not want to live with Kurds and who oppose to Kurdification nowadays. For instance, Kurds are not much welcomed anymore in east black sea region...

To put the record straight, the Kurds form a considerable percentage of the population of this country. Therefore all their values, traditions, economic stati etc add up to the overall outlook of the entire nation. They are a part of this country hence a part of our collective identity.
