the following is supposed to be a translation of an elementary Chinese text:

Lesson Title:

Banyo (hela,tualet) nerede?
Lesson Summary:
Bugün Çince "banyo (hela,tualet) nerede?" diye sormayı öğrenelim.
Lesson Content:
Han Şeng:"Merhaba,(müsaade edersiniz bir sual sorayım,)banyo (hela,tualet)nerede,lütfen?"
(Kadın)garson: “Orada!“
Han Şeng:“Teşekkür ederim!“
(Kadın)garson:"Bir şey değil(Rica ederim)!"

It is better if you don´t say "müsaade ederseniz bir sual sorayım"

First: you´d better say "bir şey sorabilir miyim" , "sual" is not used any more in very daily conversations, instead "soru" is used, but here the verb "sormak" is enough. "müsaade ederseniz" sounds uselessly polite in this situation.

Second: you´d better not say this at all, afterall you are just asking where the toilets are. It sounds useless.

- Merhaba, tuvalet nerde acaba? (sometimes "lavabo" is used to ask for the toilets in the name of "politeness".) (you say "lütfen" when you request someone to do something)

- Şurada (efendim). (şurada is better than orada when you are pointing something that is not very far away.)

"I want to be your woman, to wake up next to you. I can´t imagine a better way, to start the day, than to look into your eyes, telling you, that I love you of all my heart"

"Senin kadının olmak istiyorum, ve yanında uyanmak istiyorum.

Bütün kalbimle Seni seviyorum sana demek,ve gözlerinin içine bakmak, bu benim için en iyi tarik gün başlamak için"

I did a try, I hope you don´t mind{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

What does tarik mean ? {#emotions_dlg.unsure}

we have to admit, this one is hard. i have two suggestions.

Güne başlamak için gözlerinin içine bakıp seni seviyorum demekten daha iyi bir yol düşünemiyorum.

or

gözlerinin içine bakıp seni seviyorum demekten başka güne başlamanın daha iyi bir yolunu düşünemiyorum.

is it more normal to use ´fatura´ rather than ´makbuz´ for a receipt for payment or can either be used?

Actually, I should have said "fiş" instead of "fatura". I don´t know the exact difference, but in restaurants it is usually "fiş", "fatura" is the bigger one for bigger amounts. Fiş is the one that comes from the cash box. Makbuz is different from these, makbuz is given to you as a proof that someone received a service or a money from you. forexample he says that i received this amount of money from this person for x service, and everyone signs it. i am not very good to differentiate these kind of things, someone correct me if i am wrong.

I don´t care whether men like tanned or light skin color. I can do certain things to be more attractive to the eyes of men, but i am not going to tan to please someone. I don´t tan because i know that sun destroys the cells and it is the major responsible of skin aging in environmental factors together with smoking. I tan very little when I go to beach, after all it is good to have some summer sun for the bones and for feeling good.

Whatever the color of the skin, i think nothing can beat a smooth and healthy skin with little wrinkles.

the things that you ignore when you are happy break your heart when you are unhappy. Because remember, one understands his errors not when he is happy but unhappy.

hey can someone please translate this:

Mutluyken görmezden geldiğin şeyler mutsuzken kalbini kırar. Çünkü unutma, İnsan hatalarını mutluyken değil, mutsuzken anlar.

He wrote a book in french called "la guerre mondiale et la question turco-armenienne", (the world war and the turco-armeninan question). I found the book in its original form online:

It´s free, super. I started to read it.

Why is it though, girls who sleep around are known as "sluts/whores" where as with guys it seems to boost there egos and makes them more of a "man"? It´s something I´ve never quite understood. In my eyes, they are both as bad as each other, after all, it takes two to tango

It is not very complicated. it is something that has been developed till today since the old times. Women have been treated almost always differently than man since the old times, at least from the time of civilization. it is no wonder that it has not disappeared. It should be mostly because of the lack of birth control in the old times, which is a quiet recent thing. The mother of the offspring is always clear but the problem is the father. Unknown father or he doubt (not being sure if the biological father is the considered father), it is not hard to imagine which problems/conflicts it can cause. the sexual freedom of women has always been limited by the motherhood. with the effective birth control methods, women have somewhat earned their freedom but since over years moral and social values and culture have been structured over this handicap, it is not easy to get rid of the rooted discrimination.

Well, other things can be said but this is how I see it.

I mean if she gave birth at 10, then she must have had sex at 9 something. Either she has really entered the puberty very early or her age is somewhat more than it is on her identity card which is a common thing in some societies. Anyway, i cannot imagine in which conditions they are brought up as someone must have taught these children to do such a thing because at 9 I was still drinking milk from biberon.
