People live with their choices. i have nothing to say to you anymore because if I talk, I know that I´ll be offensive.

i´ll neither insist nor say anything anymore. but if you ever have anything to say, I can listen to. you are right, it´s my fault.

just remember that when we first met, you were in the house of a pakistani and this is not acceptable, do not go back to those days.

´´ This is what we call ´´ Consonant softening in turkish´´ .. (türkçede ünsüz yumuşaması

* Softening of the hard consonants is a grammer rule in Turkish.

* If a word that finishes with a consonant (p,ç,t,k) takes a suffix starting with a vowel, those hard consonants softens to  (b,c,d,ğ or g)

 * gecik+ecek+im  -so here  k turn into ğ  according to rule.

  * örnek: bırakacağım=bırak+acak+ım

  *kitap+ı = kitabı

  * ağaç+ı = ağacı

  * inat+ı=inadı

   There are exceptions of course like in every rule in turkish

  * This rule does not apply to proper nouns like names

      [ Ahmeti gördüm]

   * if the ´´t´´ at the end of the word is a part of the suffix itself,it does not softens

      [konut+u =konutu,yakıt+ın =yakıtın,yazıt+ın=yazıtın]

Yes but that is not the answer to her question. She asks why the "k" in gecikmek does not soften. gecikeceğim

I do not understand why its ratings are so high. i watch it from time to time from youtube but when it is on tv I do not watch it because on internet i can play forward. it has a lot of crying and pure emotional exploitation scenes that last for minutes.

I don´t know if this is permissible as I´ve just joined the site, but I need someone to help me translate two sentences into Turkish. However it is a very sensitive matter and I am dying of embarrassment so I would prefer to do this via PM if that is not against protocol.  It´s nothing medical and relates to having money stolen from me by someone I trusted. Would anyone be prepared to help me?  I just want to give the person concerned the opportunity to put things right before I take matters further although I know the odds are that my funds will not be recovered.  Thank you.

yes, you can pm me if you haven´t yet.

I would express it as:

tıpkı: just like

(tıpkı babası - just like his father)

aynı: the same

+1.

yes, you found it well!

There are just some cases where "tıpkı" is used over "aynı". It means "exactly the same"

When talking about the resemblance of a child to someone (usually in the family):

- Tıpkı sen!

- Tıpkı sana benziyor.

Tıpkı is like a copy of something.

Or it could be used in cases when we make a comparison using with "gibi". An example from the net:

- Kola tıpkı eroin gibi.

- Tıpkı bebek gibi bir gülüşü var.

It is written that most of the time the manic depressive people deny that he has any problem, so if your husband has it, it is normal that he denies it, and it is the family members who should help him to go to have a treatment.
