Quoting merts

"Kimseler" ---> anybody, nobody (same with "kimse")

"kimseye" ---> for example:
I didn´t give my pencil anyone.
Kalemimi kimseye vermedim.

"kimsenin" ---> for example:

Nobody has a pencil.
Kimsenin kalemi yok.

I hope you like.

Thanks so much

Quoting ikicihan

brother: erkek kardeş, if older than you: abi (ağabey)

sister: kız kardeş, if older than you: abla

but...

in daily convesations nobodys says erkek or kız kardeşim if the gender is not important.

we just say: "kardeşim dondurmaya bayılır"

if we need to emphasize the gender, then we use "erkek..." or "kız..."

just a detail.

Thanks so much ikicihan

Quoting Henry

I will make some comments, as a fellow learner

My brother likes ice cream.

Erkek kardeşim dondurma seviyor

You could also write Erkek kardeşim dondurma sever.
I don´t like ice cream.

Dondurma sevmedim
Why did you use past tense?

Your sentence translates to I didn´t like ice cream.

Dondurma sevmem. or Dondurma sevmiyorum. would be a better translation in my opinion.

The boss always arrives late.

patrona hep geç geliyor
Boss = patron, patrona = to the boss

My attempt Patron her zaman (işe) geç geliyor.
What is your name?

senin adın ne?

I think Adınız ne? would be better. It is more polite, and if you used ´sen´ it indicates that you know the person, therefore you should also know their name.

Where do you come from?

Nerelesin?
Again, I think the more formal Nerelisiniz? would be better to ask.
She gets up at 6:30am.
O 6:30 sabahleyin saat uyanıyor

I think O sabah saat altı buçukta kalkıyor is better.

Kalkmak = to get up, uyanmak = to wake up.
Our family lives in Hamilton.
Hamiltonda ailemizim oturuyorlar

I would write Ailemiz Hamilton´da oturuyor(lar)
I don´t see her anymore.

Onu artık görmedim

Why do you use past tense? ´Don´t see´ is present tense.

Onu artık görmem.

Thanks so much Henry
