Can anybody recomend a reasonable hotel in Istanbul, Taksim area as i am lucky enough to have a week there mid Feb

I must admit, that I've never been Istanbul before, but I work in turkish travel agency and we send clients to hotels like CEYLAM INTERCONTINENTAL 5* (20 km from the airport), THE MARMARA 5* (24 km),THE MADISON 4*. Unfortunately, have no idea about any cheaper hotels
I'm sure, someone, who lives in Istanbul will reccomend sth suitable good luck, pa pa
