This year I going to apply for exchange with Erasmus Scholarschip. Going from my university I can chose one of these three schools:
Istanbul Universitesi
METU (Middle East Technical Uniersity) in Ankara and
Cukurova University in Adana.
I want to study fine arts there.
If I go from turkology, I can choose only Eskisehir...
Can you advice me which one is the best? Can you tell me something about people, about studying there?
Please help. I have about a month to make a decision.

hi there, I recommend METU. it is the best of Turkey. I am a graduate of this school.
I do not recommend it because I am gradutaed from it but because it is the best in terms of everything. Student life, education and many other facilities.
Simply you have 24 hours access to Internet in almost everystudent hostel if you are going to stay there.
There are many internation students studying there and they have their own club and many other things. Visit the website please for extra info

ahhmm from your options yeap METU is the best choice.. but this doesnt mean they are the best.. bosphorous university, koc university, bilkent university(ankara) are much more better than METU... well actually it depends on you which is the best.. but from your choices metu is the logical.. hope they give you much more options from istanbul... because education is not the only student clubs and campus life... hope you got what i meant
see ya..

that's why I'm asking. I've heard that student hostels of Istanbul University are horrible, on the other hand Istanbul itself is fantastic city for fun and I don't know much about Ankara. Where life is more expencive?
Anyway, thank you for advice

hi there! i am studying in Istanbul Tech
www.itu.edu.tr/e/ for more information.. and i m living in istanbul for many year and i have been to many places in turkey and can absolutely say nothing can be like istanbul.. and metu is one of the hardest universities in turkey i dunno whats your major but i dont think you will come here for one year to make your hair grey erasmus is basicly based on culture exchange not to make students tired and so on... istanbul university is the first university set up in turkey and it has massive attack in the world about law study.. and its only uses coz of its having such big amount of student in it.. like nearly or maybe over 100000 student... ankara is dunno to me some pessimistic and monotonuous city and thats what i got from my friends studying there... if you could have itu in your options.. i told you to write with your eyes closed

SOmewhere in Internet, readind about Istanbul I found the information that the cost is about 500 dollars. I found it quite much... too much for me. The vision of living in girls hostel where as I've heard girls steal everything, even underwear and hot water is only two hours in the evening also isn't very nice...
I don't have much money, especially if I don't get scholarship from my university (which is unfortunately very probable) that' swhy I'm very interested in living costs in particular cities
