i was wondering if anyone could help me with this
For school we are doing a project where we have to choose anywhere in the world to find recipes from and eventually we are going to make them.I chose turkey, and I was wondering if anyone could give me any suggestions on some good turkish foods or drinks, and i could find the recipe for it.
if anyone could help thanks alot because i was haveing trouble finding anything.

There are lots of recipes at the site here,why don't you check them ?
As for the drink,it would be ayran i guess.
And its very easy to make.
Yogurt with water mixed together.
Here,i forgot i have this,check it too

Yes. It's very popular here in Turkey.

By the way, can ayran be made from regular yoghurt? I've made it in Turkey before but the turkish yoghurt is compact with water at the bottom..

I'm afraid low-fat yoghurt won't do the job. I always use Turkish yoghurt (a brand called "Gazi", but it's made in Germany I think..)

Ok thanks! I'll definitely have to look around for it but yet again it seems that my country doesn't have anything useful.
