At the site it says this museum is closed until the end of 2005 due to restaurations, in fact it will re-open in a few weeks, on January 19th. I haven't been there yet, I sure will go. Curious: are there musea of this kind in other countries?

As far as I know, the UK do not have anything similar Trudy, which is a shame. However, we do have many Turkish exhibits in the British Museum in London including the Mausoleum of Halicarnassus (one of the 'Seven Wonders of the Ancient World').

The excavations were given to the museum during the Ottoman Empire. Bodrum now wants it back, and earlier this year were filing a lawsuit against the British Museum. I do not know the outcome and can find nothing on google. Does anyone know the situation now?
