It is not only those learning another language that get it wrong - but many an English person can get their words wrong. There was even a play written and the main character being called Mrs Malaprop after the word "malapropism" the comical misuse of words.

i loved that play when i read it at college.off the subject but had 2 say it..sorry everyone

the play isnt called mrs malaprop...it is called 'the rivals' by richard brinsley sheridan...

I thought I was a little confused, that's why I asked because I thought Mrs Malaprop was a charater in it. Or am I wrong there too? :-S
