Paul Wolfowitz, president of the Worldbank, has visited a mosque in Edirne. He didn't realise he had to take of his shoes, and..... see for yourself at

(the article is in Dutch but the picture international... lol)

If you know his salary is 391.440 USD per year....

the most disgusting part off a body is the feet

Feet disgusting part of the body? are you sure? I like feet a lot as for the poor man, well he is just a human being and come on... how many of you have at least ONCE wore a pair of stockings /socks in such condition?!
(or worse!!)

i dont normally wear socks/stockings as they don't go with my outfits..if i do they r always clean, matching and holeless

It was on the news here as well but I wasn't paying attention it until they mentioned Turkey. They didn't talk about what he was doing in Turkey at all, just that he had holes in his socks The news ticker said "President of the Worldbank visits mosque in Turkey... with holes in his socks" lol

Anyway, it just shows that even though he's stinking rich, he's still an ordinary person. Although personally I throw socks away if they have holes because it makes me crazy lol

Come on guys!

The man isn't an ordinary man like us. He isn't thinking of what he will eat for lunch or dinner, or which club to go at night,or fooling online on TC.
The guy's mind is very busy with how he could help those in need in the world. He might not have noticed the holes on his socks while putting them on in the morning.

We have a saying in Turkish: Başına çorap örmek / to get someone into trouble.

Adam dünyanın başına çorap örmekle meşgul. Kendi çoraplarındaki delikleri görmeye vakti mi var sanki.

so i suppose if he forgot to put his pants/trousers on we should forgive that too

lol @ Robin....you reminded me of January 13th in NY

erm...should i even ask what happened then kai??

Perhaps someone forgot their pants or even worse, had a hole in them or maybe got arrested and had to go to the police station and underwent a strip search, only to reveal no pants or holes in pants, or even worse had sock suspenders......... sorry I am getting carried way now with 13th January
