Hey guys! What's for Christmas in a typical Turkish kitchen???
I am sooo excited about Christmas and I can't help it... hhahah.. I always go back to childhood when it comes.

You mean new year? Because we don't celebrate christmas.

yup! mltm is right we dont celebrate new Xmas. but they orginize some parties or some special events in touristic places and some shows in shopping places...

and for new year i think nothing special but sometimes my mom makes great job with chickens

Okay... what's in the kitchen for New Year? In the Philippines we have two New Years. One on January and the other is on February usually among Chinese communities.

No, Turkey is predominently a muslim country and therefore doesn't celebrate Christmas, although those like myself who were born and brought up in London we still have a traditional roast turkey lunch and exchange gifts.

In Turkey the New Year is celebrated and that is when they may have parties and exchange their gifts.
