Dün akşam, akşam yemeği için çok sarımsaklı piliç pişirdim.
Pişirdiğim piliçi çok guzeldi ve ondan çok lezzet aldık

You dont have to say akşam twice and u should say "piliç" not piliçi.Also "lezzet aldık" is not good, " tat aldık" is more proper.

I did wonder about this! Should it be:
Dün akşam yemeği .....
u should say "piliç" not piliçi
Why? In this sentence I am talking about a particular chicken - the one that I cooked so why doesn't is take /-ı/ suffix?
Also "lezzet aldık" is not good, "tat aldık" is more proper
I originally had "zevk aldık" and changed it to "lezzet aldık" after looking in the dictionary. Is "lezzet almak" wrong or just an uncommon verb?
I had originally written:
"Pişirdiğim piliçi çok guzeldi ve lezzetlidi"
But changed that because:
- I wasn't sure about "lezzetlidi"
- I didn't like two "ve" in one sentence!

Dün akşam yemeği için çok sarmısaklı bir piliç pişirdim.

Think about it while saying 'Pişirdiğim piliç' the chicken which I cooked,it shows that particular meaning you shouldn't say 'pilici' again.
But you can use it like this:
Dün akşam yemeği için çok sarmısaklı bir piliç pişirdim.
Piliçi arkadaşlarımda çok beğendi.
Also 'lezzet aldık' is not good, 'tat aldık' is more proper

I never heard it before,maybe its not wrong but it sounds unsuitable.'tat almak' is more common.

Because it's the subject here, not the object.
