I would like to make my husband a Turkish cake for his birthday tomorrow. Any ideas on something simple and tasty?

I would appreciate any recipes.

There is no speacial Turkish cake. Here is one from me:

4 eggs
4 turkish coffe cups (ask your husband about the size)sugar
4 turkish coffe cups flour

mix them till they get creamy. Bake in 180 c.
you have to do this three times, to have three layers of your cake. Make an instant coffe (half mug) pour it carefully on to the layers. You can use any kind of filling between them.
