Holiday visa question

Hi all,
I would like to ask anyone who has had their Turkish boyfriend/girlfriend come over to the U.K. how long it took to obtain their holiday visa, I am slightly worried as my girlfriend wants to come next month for a holiday and she has not got her visa yet as she is waiting on her passport application is a month enough time still to apply and be successful thanks for replies anyone
