traveling to Turkey. I am a very light eater. I probably eat 5 times a day very small portions. I don't know why..anyways my question is if I go to dinner at someone's house in Turkey and only eat half of my dinner would they get offended? I can never finish a full meal no matter what.

I don't think they would get offended; this would however depend much more on what kind of impression you will give when and/or after eating the meal. But maybe you will break for just once your such a habit or principle, and eat the whole meal? Or maybe you will be served so little meal that you will wish more of it and even feel hungry?

thank you...I will try to eat all. I have gone to turkish dinners with my husband where there is a large amount of people and they keep bringing food...and more... and more..like I think ok, this is appetizer..then they will bring something else and then I think this is the meal and then they bring more and then my husband would say...."ok here is the main dish." by then I am supper full... but everyone else keep eating.....now that's what I call a REAL FEAST!!! wow should I even mention dessert?
