Aferin ona!

It's strange. She has no accent! Maybe she's a macedonian turk??

Yes I think it's surprising too Kadir's mum likes me and she told me his father doesnt, and she thinks its because he is jealous he cant sing AND be a doctor Maybe he quit his career, I don't know.

@ mltm: Maybe she has lived here for many years already. And it could have to do with the macedonian way of talking too. For example, for a Dutch it's rather hard to speak Turkish well, but it is easier for a Dutch than for an English-speaking person. Maybe for Macedonians its not too difficult. I know someone who has been in Turkey for 2,5 years now and you can barely distinguish her from a native.

Maybe she is. I don't know yet. Her family may come from a Turkish family, but generally the competitors are chosen from those who are not Turkish (whose mom and dad are not Turkish directly). You can see the names of finalists here:

I also know an American girl in person who sang this song (very badly though ) for a student movie which she acted as a Turkish woman. Well, I taught her.
