Around 11,300 Turkish Airlines (THY) aviation employees, affiliated with Hava-İş trade union, have upped the ante in their preparations for a strike. The employees are threatening to walkout on July 20, two days before the general elections. If no agreement is reached before the date, the strike may disrupt both tourism and the travel of citizens heading to their home provinces to vote.
