oğuzhan:
O= pronounced as the o in cot
Ğ= could be pronounced as the w in bowl (but must be very soft: this is hardly pronounced at all u kno)
U= pronounced as u in push
Z
H
A= pronounced as the a in star
N
hope this helps
also, remember that all turkish vowels are pronounced very short.. in eng. we extend our vowels. so that is why a turkish person's accent may sound like they are "spiking" a different language altogether. and for u, to avoid "speeeeking" like a foreigner make sure u remember this

Ohhh thank u sooo much for all your help, your answers were so quick, it is amazing!!!
About pronouncing the vocals very short, this may be the reason why everytime I speak on the phone with my turkish friends, I have hard time understanding their english... although their writing it's close to perfect... sometimes I just don't get it on the phone.... I guess it's frustrating for them too... and on top of that, english is not my first language either, so u can imagine...oh my God what a mess!!!....
Again, thank u very much for all your help...!!!
