are you turkish or english?

Hope you don't mind but i just looked at your home page. U seem to have a really cool background. I would love to have two languages under my belt.

Have you got any advice on the turkish front? I would like to learn but i am unsure how to pronouce certain words etc.. thats where the problem starts

i advise u to try and learn from as many different sources as possible..
try books: spesh "teach urself turkish" pollard and asuman
compare translations of songs
turkish tv: spesh dizis hehe theyr really clear to understand
whenever u dont understand sth. just ask on here too, there are plenty of people whod love to help you
also, try using post it notes to stick everywhere with words and their translations on a bit crazy but that really helped me!
also, msn!! try chatting to as many tr people as u can..

when u have enough determination u can achieve anything.. good luck with it

well the funny thing is my boyfriend can speak amazing english but his brother cannot speak a word of it. He is always on MSN and i always try to talk but we get stuck after how are you? lol. This is why I'm on here, I wanna try talk to his family and not just him. Hopefully in time I wont just be on here to ask for a translation, maybe to help. It seems a very tricky language though.
