Hi all

I'm new here, but what I have just seen looks really good and should help my Turkish lessons.

But for now I am really stuggling to compose a short SMS greeting appropriate to send to my many friends in Turkey for Kurban Bayrami.

Can someone please post a short greeting in Turkish that I can use as an SMS message for Kurban Bayrami

many thanks

Greetings,
welcome to Turkish Class. I hope you will enjoy your stay. You might want to have a look on here:

The most common and easiest greeting would be as follows:

"Kurban bayramınız kutlu olsun."

Great thanks for that.

So its basically the same greeting for both sacrifice and sugar feasts then!

One more quick question, when is the most appropriate time to send such a message, at the beginning or end or the holiday. I was told that for Ramazan Bayram it should be on the last day, Is this the case for Kurban Bayram.

So for this year should it be today or Friday (10th or 13th Jan)

thanks again

I think today (the 10.th), the first day is better. Cheers.
