Does anyone know, aside from what the airline provides to me, what isn't allowed to take into Turkey? Are there restrictions the Turkish authorities have that the U.S./European airlines don't? I'm talking about normal household items, not things of an offensive nature.

I can't think of any normal household items that are banned. Whatever list the airline gives you should be sufficient. It is when you come back to the US (if that is your destination) where they get weird about what you bring in.

That's what I thought. Thanks!
