Ive been given some good adivce by every one but still confused on issues over visas can can one enlightend me on the facts?

1. you need to get a residancy permit BEFORE a working permit, but the residancy permit can be obtained in turkey as u get ripped off trying to get it here

2. if u succesfully get a work permit it only applies to the job that you are working for currently and CANOT be used for any other jobs

3. if i find emplyment once in turkey and employer agress to get me a work permit can u stll work whilest waiting for one as i heard they take up to 6 months to come thru!

also what are the chance of just working anyway from all the research ive done into it it seems extreamly hard to get a work permit, and also there is no way i would have a job before i got over there anyway. as i would have to find one first.

much appricated for anyones help on this =)

Hi

It is easier to get a work permit apparently once you have residancy yes.

You can only work for the one company/person that your work visa relates to.

Yes you can continue to work for the company while your permit is been processed and it does take a long time.

I applied for my permit in London and still went and lived/worked in Turkey while waiting. I worked for 9 months and never actually had a visa come through as it all seemed like a lot of red tape to be honest. I eventually come back to England with my Turkish husband in June 2006 when I was pregnant and we have settled here now.
