An offensive against illegal workers hit foreign residents this month. The days of working without a permit and “staying under the radar” are over: Europeans who want to work in the sun would be well-advised to give Alanya a pass and head for a European Union member country instead. Two young Danes, both new to the country, were deported for working illegally at a real estate agency. Another Danish-owned agency was closed down as a punishment for employing foreigners without permits.

Fair enough !

Danes should enjoy identical conditions in Turkia, as Turks enjoy in Denmark..

If working requires a work permit, so be it !

I completely agree! (Twice in two days we agree? )

I posted this for the benefit of a couple of people here who recently said that they would not bother with a permit

And I just wonder what you think of the Mexicans here in the U.S. who are illegal and do not have a work permit. Should they be deported?

Accept them to US citizenship. Enroll them to a recruit depot. After a basic training , send them all to Iraq.
This is called maximum utilization of human resources.
