Quoting Deli_kizin: Which companies offer Yurt içi flights in Turkey? I have looked for THY and Pegasus but I'd like to find some more. Does anybody know about Pegasus?
They dont have that many options, so Id like to check some more companies. Once again I am flying to Istanbul, and this time Id prefer to enter a plane instead of 10 hours in the bus again.. (and 2 years ago I was nervous to fly at least 2 weeks in advance ) |
Hi
Try Turkish Airlines
Pegasus
Atlas Jet
As the others have said, the prices are cheaper the earlier you book, unless you get a standby ticket at the last minute.

Which airport is closer to Kadıköy. Sabiha or Atatürk?
Im trying to find maps but I cant find a complete one :-S.
A friend of mine lives in Kadıköy and Im considering to visit her for a late glass of wine and then an early breakfast before I head to my next flight. But then I need to know which aiport I better go to from her house.. should I go back to Atatürk Airport, or is it faster to go to Sabiha..

I'd say it's quicker to go to the city from Atatürk because you can go with the metro. It takes about an hour to go from Sabiha Gökçen to Kadıköy, and there's a good chance it takes longer to get back because there is a circus of busses and I found it particularily hard to figure out the system in Kadıköy.

But if you get a taxi from sabiha gokcen to kadikoy it's very quick, and (from the point of view of someone who has to pay £6 for a 10 minute taxi drive at home! ) it's cheap as well...
edit: when i say quick, i dont mean 5 minutes...but it's a hell of a lot quicker than the bus or something

Thank you all. I think my friend will drop me off, so figuring out the public transport is no problem I went to city centre with the metro once from Atatürk, but the problem is that the metro doesnt go till 6 oclock in the morning. I also went to sabiha gökçen once with public transport but it was a horror since I took the city-bus and had to get onto the metro 4. levent to get to taksim. Next time Ill wait for the special services

Sometimes I do think that a private jet/carpet (whatever, as long as its private) would be cheaper in the end

I don't know I tend to think Fast Camel Caravan maybe a little too aggressive. I hear they tend to wrestle their passengers..

Quoting Deli_kizin: Is it possible to buy a ticket for a domestic flight in Turkey (İstanbul-İzmir) at the airport the same day?
I mean, do you really have to book online, or could I try my luck at a desk there too?
Approximalte yhwat are the prices? |
I do this all the time, DK....the fees depend on where you want to go. I think from Istanbul to Aydin is about 65 YTL.
