Turkish Poet during the Ottoman period. After the establishment of the constitutional system in Ottoman Government, he published the paper "Tanin" with another famous journalist Hüseyin Cahit.
His grave is at Asiyan on the Bosphorus. His home was turned into a museum and a Tevfik Fikret Association is also established. His poetry is collected in a volume titled "Rubab-e Shikeste".
Madame Anahit of Beyoglu Cicek Pasaji used to cheer up tables which were intoxicated by food and alcohol with her HOHNER make accordion and brought even more delight to their delight.
Tekin Aral was one of the most popular comic artists in Turkey. He was born in Istanbul in 1941 and made his debut as a comic artist in 1956, when his first work was published in Dolmus magazine. This was only the beginning of a steady production of comics and cartoons, published in several magazines and newspapers. One of his many titles is 'Tarzan ve Arap Kadri' (together with Latif Demirci), which also appeared in several album collections. Together with his brother Oğuz Aral, he founded Gırgır magazine. In 1976, he launched magazine Firt, where he continued his comics and columns. He also wrote daily Turkish anecdotes in newspaper Günaydin. Tekin Aral died in 1999 of kidney and lung problems
