Quoting yilgun-7:

- Fala inanma falsız kalma : Don't believe in foretellings but don't stay without them.
- Papaz her gün pilav yemez : The priest does not eat rice every day.
- Parayla imanın kimde olduğu belli olmaz : It is unclear who has money and who faith.

I dont think these are the Turkish proverbs. I think these are modern and ignorant Turkish people's fabrications (made-up). (and also maybe some other proverbs)

yilgun what is your source(s) ?

It is sad one should have 3 cups of coffe per day: first- bitter, as life, the second- sweet, as love and the third- mysterious, as death....
