I didn't know where else to post this lol...so thought I'd pop it in here.

I am learning the art of belly dance, I have ben really interested in it for a few years now but have just recently decided to finally get of my butt and learn it properly this time lol.

Thing is, I have found loads of websites with the costumes on, but I can't find anything anywhere that gives you ideas for how to do make up. Does any1 that belly dances know of any sites?? Or can any1 give me a few hints and tips of what to do?

I love doning my own make up at home when Im going somewhere nice, so I think learning to use differant styles of make up would be really interesting

Thanks to any1 who can help

I've been learning bellydance for quite a while now and because of that I've been investigating those things myself. There are lots of pages with make up ideas and they're actually not difficult to find. Here are some examples:
http://www.bellydancefun.com/Stage-Makeup.html
http://www.giselebomentre.com.br/english/arabic_style_make_up.htm
http://gobellydance.com/MakeupTips.html

If you want some more information or smth all you need to do is ask

Can ANYBODY learn the basics of bellydance?

I have rather stiff hips But still would like to know some basics. Can anybody learn the basics or is this really only meant for the born talents?

I had a go at belly dancing on holiday and found it easy! I am lucky that I have "swivel hips" but it is all in the rythmn and a lot of fun! lol

+100
I'm not a born talent and I've learnt the basics so I guess it's possible for anyone to learn. It's a lot of work in the beginning though
