Spare a thought for all the marathon runner pounding the streets of London tomorrow, in what is forecast to be cold and wet.

The London Marathon is a fantastic event and has become the most popular and I think biggest marathon in the world.

When the stats are available we will be able to see how many runners there are from Turkey!

Around 35,000 people ran in the marathon today and I am exhausted just watching! A new course record was made and broken by three top atheletes - 2hr 5 min and some seconds!

The inspirational stories of many runners are truely incredible and hundreds of thousands £'s are raised for a number of charities.

On the news today it was reported that a 101 year old man ran in the marathon, raising money for children’s charities. He finished the race in just over 10 hours.
If that isn’t amazing enough, this guy smokes and says he only drinks beer!

Thank God I'd eaten before I saw the first pic!

Still, I suppose anything goes in the name of collecting for charity!

I heard a rumour that that's her in the last picture handsom posted!

Modify: Just to clarify this is a LITTLE JOKE not a PERSONAL attack - just in case anyone wants to object
