There are some intermittent problems accessing Turkish Class website from various locations. This is not because of a problem with our server, but it is an issue related to mapping the name www.turkishclass.com to the web server. I am still not sure why this is happening but you can take the following steps to never have this problem again on your computer:

1. Open file C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts using notepad

2. At the end of this file, add the following line
72.18.199.86 turkishclass.com www.turkishclass.com turkishdictionary.net www.turkishdictionary.net turkeyforyou.com www.turkeyforyou.com

3. Close all open browser windows and open again. After this you will not have this specific problem on that particular computer.

I am definitely open to suggestions of users with technical knowledge of DNS and how such problems can be traced/resolved.

I have tried to connect in 3 different ways from the location where I am now (an hotel in UK).
1- Dialup connection: I can connect
2- Ethernet connection. No way, I cannot connect.
3- Wireless: I can connect

All of them go to different ISPs/routes. Yes it is a DNS problem. Not your problem but ISP problem.

Your solution should work as long as the IP number doesn't change.

I have just tried the suggestions of admin as I got this connection problem after logging in for a while.
It seems to work, at least for now.

Good luck!

Thank you for the information. I changed the DNS servers, let's see if anyone has this problem after today.

A note: if you are using Windows Vista, you will need to open notepad "as an administrator".
