I think its strange when people wont say if male or female.
I like to know who im replying to, as would maybe at times word things in diffrent way for a male, to what i would reply to female.

I'm one of those who don't post gender. I really don't think it makes any difference what my gender is. In fact, I find it interesting when people speculate on my gender.
I'm not looking for romance and anything of that sort. Not posting one's gender sort of sends a signal...you know?

I never used to post my gender but now I do, otherwise you end up getting spam from males and females

So, do you prefer spam from men or women??? Might I suggest if you don't want to be spammed, put a picture of yourself in a burka....worked wonders for me! |
And very nice you look too!

whats spamming? |
Post a picture of yourself and you will soon find out what spamming is
its unwanted/wanted email from complete strangers, depending on your outlook |
Have you seen my picture? I still get 22 year olds wanting to 'be my friend'

alameda, you remind me of the Saturday Night Live character...Pat...do you know the one I mean? Everyone was always trying to guess his/her gender and he/she would always leave little clues but nothing completely conclusive....it was hilarious!

You mean....Pat
Well I guess it certainly does give something to think about, if one is so inclined.....
Once I was interviewing someone by phone, and could not tell what gender they were. I had to make out a report on my interview, but couldn't ask what gender they were. I never did find out
