insulting our national values can not be accepted.

you have never warned these ppl, that s why u are still responsible.

You are saying that you have no tolerance to different opinions, or criticism of your country. I would love to have you as a moderator, but for this simple reason, you cannot be. We have this rule that as long as you are respectful to the person you are talking to, you are free to express your beliefs and thoughts.

Please, continue this conversation somewhere else, start a new thread if you want. This thread is devoted to technical problems with the site.

It may be called "Freedom of Speech" but regardless, insulting a country´s national values (especially on a site where Turkish people (and others) are trying to help teach their language to people) is not only inappropriate, but it is kinda rude Neutral. We forget that the word "freedom" doesn´t necessarily mean that we say or do whatever we want....because then we take away other people´s freedoms by our actions. We should always be careful with our freedoms so that we don´t infringe on the freedoms of others Big smile.

My notepad doesn´t work.  When I click on edit, a blank uneditable page comes up. I can read it, but not put any new notes in it, or edit anything on/in it.

This is a general problem not just ´translation lounge´ one - already reported to Fatih, who is going to look into it.

What has happened to the site dictionary ?

It used to recognise turkish words with or without turkish letters ...or at least offer suggestions  for correct spelling when you searched them. Now nothing

I sometimes need to find words i dont understand, but if the people writting them dont use turkish letters,  the dictionary is no use anymore

It´s working ok for me Katie.  Occasionally I get the message ´Could not record entry´  but it always works on a second try.  Send a pm directly to Admin (Fatih) explaining the problem in case he doesn´t see your post.
